Randi Sviland, PhD

Randi graduated as a physiotherapist in Wolverhampton, England, in 1981 and completed postgraduate education in Norwegian Psychomotor Physiotherapy (NPMP) in 1986. She obtained her master’s degree in Physiotherapy Science in 2005 and a PhD in 2014, both at the University of Bergen.

Randi started the clinical experience in the somatic and psychiatric specialist health care. Since 1986 she has practiced Norwegian Psychomotor Physiotherapy in a private clinic. She has also been employed at Western Norway University of Applied Sciences for 9 years, mainly teaching at the master’s program in psychomotor physiotherapy.
